The Banana Puff Incident

Where to begin? How about with the fact that I will put just about anything in my mouth these days? I look around and I feel sorry for all you people who are not using your mouths to explore the world.

Anyway, Mom and Dad are trying to steer me toward putting certain things in my mouth, and not certain other things. So they've started giving me finger food, like these so-called "Banana Puffs"...

Let me tell you something, Mr. Banana Puffs...

...I know bananas. I have eaten bananas. And you, Mr. Banana Puffs, are no banana.

On the bright side, I am taller than ever in my new perch:

Soon I will be able to reach Dad's hair and the fun can really begin.

That's all the fabulosity that's fit to print. See you next time,

Maddie

She looks especially teensy up there in the new backpack! Is it for hiking or just surveying her domain?

Sweetheart, Can you pince your banana puffs or are you using the 5-finger grab?

Dear Caroline,

I don't understand the distinction you're making. Aren't I surveying my domain everywhere I go?

p.s. Tell Cute Barritt I saw his video!

Dear Gram,

You'll have to ask my parents that question. I try not to get hung up on technique. Just so everything gets into my mouth I figure my hands have done their jobs...

...and sometimes my feet, because I use those to hold things in my mouth, too.

True, Maddie. I guess all hiking really is is surveying your domain from higher ground. Cute Barritt says "hey Baaaaaaaabeeeeee."

Dear Maddie,
you should not judge someone (not even Mr. Banana Puffs) by only considering single aspects of his personality. Even if Mr. Banana Puffs may be a show-off or even a pretender there may be other advantages that makes him loveable...for example aspects of stickyness or portability...think about that...
A mom who knows about (having) banana (everywhere)...
